8.Nov. Arriving in the land of luxury, aber das Hotel ist nicht so wie erhofft.

11/8 Arriving in the land of luxury, but our hotel isn´t what we had expected for.

Aber sie arbeiten daran

But they ´re working at it

Die blauen so wie die gelben

The blue ones and the yellow ones

Aber die wichtigen optischen Verschönerungen müssen wir selbst in die Hand nehmen

But the most important optical facelift we had to do by ourself

Mit der Zeit stellt sich Zufriedenheit ein und das Wetter wird sicher noch besser

By and by contentedness appears and the weather will certenly improve

Na wer sagst denn ...

Nachdem sich aber die Bauarbeiten schwieriger gestallten

After having noticed that construction works are mostly difficult

suchten wir nach einer neuen Unterkunft

We asked for a new housing

und einem neuem Firmenwagen

and a new company car

auch bessere Hilfskräfte hätten wir gerne gehabt

and we would like to have some better helping hands, too.

Aber irgendwie wollten die nicht mitziehen.                    Und weil das Wetter wieder ganz schell schlechter wurde

But no one took party on it.                                           And because the whether changed very quickly

blieb alles beim Alten und wir machten wieder alles selber

everything remained unaffected and we did start working again

und mit der professionellen Hilfe unseres Beobachtungspostens

and with professional help of our watchman

laufen wir zur Höchsform auf

we accumulated to top form

bis zur Erschöpfung

up to complete burn out

Sie waren so begeistert, dass sie uns dann doch einen Firmenwagen gaben

They were so impressed, that they gave us their company car at the end

Und nicht nur das. Sie gaben uns sogar einen Tag frei und ihr Schiff, um in den Souks zu shoppen.

And that was not all. They even gave us a day off and their boat for shopping in the souks.

Aber es war ein Mörderverkehr auf dem Creek

But there was a hell of a traffic on the creek

also nahmen wir unsere neuen Toyotas und fuhren in die einsame Wüste

so we took our new Toyotas und drove to the lonely dessert

Sie hielten länger als wir dachten.           They lasted longer than we believed  

Wir versuchten es mit Meditation und auch per Anhalter                     We tried it with meditation or hitchhiking

Dann trafen wir auf die Wüstenmenschen.

Finaly we met the famous dessert people.

Sie nahmen uns mit zu einem ihrer traditionellen Rituale

They took us to one of their traditional ritual act

Wir wußten nicht, dass es blutig enden sollte...

We didn´t know, that it should end in such a bloody mess...

Nachdem wir uns noch retten konnten, kamen wir zu einem Fischerdorf,wo wir uns ein Boot bauen liesen

After surviving we met fishermans friendswho built us a boat

das uns  zurück zur Arbeit brachte.

which brought us back to work.

und dann... fertig

and finaly... finished
